  • honestly I've never get the hype around the "dumble sound", especially overdrive tone. I always think they're extremely muddy

  • I could bet the overdrive channel is just a Zendrive clone, being the voice adjustment the internal trim pot not to make it too evident.

  • I think you want to loose the single coil sound and transcend into a humbucker high gain wash by turning up the gain.

  • Your amp is amazing! It’s a waist to play that pedal through it. There should be a foot switch to change channels. That severely limits its usefulness. To much of effect from every pot past unity #2 position. Audible hum- how do you record with it?
JHS should do a side by side comparison with the amp he tried to copy.
I wonder how accurate IR COPIES ARE OF THE REAL THING? Until there’s a real side by sound comparison and the various pedal tones are matched to the amp , this pedal can’t be judged.

  • Tip: The wrench also acts as a spacer for when you put the knobs on to keep them all at the same height. Just put the wrench under the knob when you attach it.

  • This pedal is 90% hype. It’s almost like a joke- “NOTaDumble” is really truth in advertising. Because it is isn’t- it’s a jfet power booster that Dumble made as a one-off pedal. Mind you- it will probably be the best boost you have heard in a while. The Overdrive section- well— that’s another one. It’s ok. But- there’s talk about it actually being a reboxing of the Zen Drive. Whether you believe the talk, is up to you. But- I myself might not being using the OD section all that much.

  • On their website it says Input: "Attenuates treble and input gain at the front of the circuit.", maybe yours is defective? There's definitely no input attenuation happening there, just a subtle bass reduction from what I hear.

If that's what they meant it to do, I think calling that knob "Input" is going to confuse a lot of people.

  • I always love your demos and you're a great guy you should have put the trim pot in the default setting at the beginning so that you could have had the thick and creamy right away on the Princeton's now you set the trim pot too bright because you have the input maxed out so when you turn the input knob to the left it's going to be way too bright in my opinion… always great fun content though and I really do enjoy every video you do

  • 3:16 "thanks to mr. Mayer" is actualy John Mayer, because he lend his a box later (the pedal that is in the notadumble) for Josh to reverse engineer, and Josh studied the pedal
