I generally really like the sound of humbuckers, but in this case, the Tele single coil holds its own for this funky little riff… almost. IMO, the P90 wins again.
Bro, why was the humbucker tele pickup selector in the middle position, when the single coil and p90 were on the neck pickup only? Not a true comparison.
I have a LP59GT90 – with p90 split coil buttons on both humbuckers.

Maple necks are sticky
They all sound great and would sound great regardless of which one you picked. Also depends on what style youre going for.
I was torn between three pickup models, and then this video helped me so much that I decided to get all three.

I like the single coil man the humbucker sounds like there's zero tonal separation. All right it was put through a compressor or something I just I don't like it
For funky riffs definitely single coil on tele, no other option.
I just love the fizz you get from P90s.
