Regarding the clean channel setting, if I'm running that on a board with my OD and chorus pedals, where would the best spot be? About to purchase an EQ for my single channel amp, my signal flow is a micro pog, phase 90, mxr fat sugar for a lead boost, and a CE2 style chorus into my amp. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it!
Could not agree more!
Ok, ok, ok. I need an EQ pedal.
Main reason for having a EQ pedal especially if you have a valve amp is to be nicely able to dial your tone for your amp depending on guitar input (humbuckers or single coil etc). An EQ pedal is hugely underrated as it isn't really massively an effects pedal, but just more gets your tone right for your desired sound. Even when adjusting the frequencies you only want a small amount of changes, a little adjustment goes a long way.
The format of your videos remind me of blues clues or some shit.
What is that guitar!
Empress Para eq is the best.
p.s.
It has an adjustment boost.
I’m just starting to build my pedal board and the first pedal I bought was a Boss DS1 and now I want to get an EQ pedal but I don’t want to spend that much. Is it still worth it getting a 6 band or should I go the full mile and get a 10 band instead?
Your SG is super duper cool
Is the graphic fuzz by EHX a good eq ??
I finally got an eq, and man, what great options. Thanks for highlighting them.
Drop out all trebles so you can pretend you've got fun neighbours playing good music
Technically that was a hi fi sound. It emphasized the high end for the most part. Lofi is more of when its very warm and low end emphasized. Its technically more complex than that but yeah still an amazing sound
???? ???? ????
I have a belly button
Every player should have an EQ..i use mine for a solo boost
❤
Holy shit! Great video
Is the EQ im the FX Loop?
Oh thay hair
Are those 3 humbuckers??
I hear ya. Got two.
You’re good brother but you gotta chill ????
Why is this guy
Because yu need money????
SA EQ2 + Morningstar MIDI controller + expression pedal. It does a lot of stuff. Like a lot.
Fun fact: you don't need one.
no, no you don't.
1of 4 pedal board essentials.
NOT TONE. This has absolutely nothing to do with tone.
I use it after a drive to emulate that Steve Albini tone
If you're going to get one buy a quality one, I picked up j o l o band controllers…built in lights and master… I am not a shredder or great at lead I'm a rhythmist, note I only use one pedal for my Fender non tube amplifier with my Distortion or fuzz pedals when recording, I use both of them if I'm playing back music through the PA or playing live I think I'm going to buy one more, great video and you are a great player my friend… happy holidays to all from Kent Crawford Horse Heaven Hills Washington State my music sounds a lot like Neil Young check out my latest 'Summer of Love' on YouTube thank you and rock on
Only because of my eq pedal I can stand playing my active EMGs
I like to put an EQ after a drive pedal to create a pseudo preamp type of thing and send it to a power amp. I know there's preamp pedals out there but I have some drive pedals that I really like the sound of that lack a full EQ or are meant to sound like an amp like a Marshall in a box but they're voiced to go into a clean channel and not a power amp
Thank you! I need clear, clean guitar tones.
I bought an equalizer… I can tell that its the most importante pedal.. its insane… ❤️
If more people use any cute pedal there wouldn't be much need to change pickups. But then again marketing always wins.
Or for the first option, you can just use your volume knob on the guitar.
That's my bass behind you. Lol
EQs are too complicated for guitarists
