  • You are so right about Keith Scott. He's a national treasure from Canada. So underrated, but absolutely the right stuff on every song.

  • <— Vancouver born. REAL small music community back in the day. Through work, I found myself in Loverboys N. Vanc practice studio (by the old Venice Bakery for those that know the area), as well as 3 members homes almost at least once a month. I visited Bryan's West Van home on Mathers several times, once during "Waking up The Neighbors" (the title is quite literal lol) , again when Sting and Stewart were working on that Costner movie with Bryan and then again when VH was in pre-prod with Sammy and Mick Jones producing. Then later on, Bryan's "1st" Warehouse Studios on Welch Street while the Water Street build out was happening. My buddy knew Keith and he said "you haven't even heard how great he is. You should of heard him in his his Fusion band".

But ya, they all know each other and used the company I worked for at time. Bruce Allen Talent handled almost all of them. Colin James (not his real last name) was without question the nicest of the lot – Adams was the opposite and basically meh and I'll leave it at that…not so nice and would hit on my wife when she was working a Capers at the time (sold to Wholefoods I believe). but ya, Colin was so excited to show me the studio that Ron Obvious and John Vrtacic designed and built for him. Real lovely guy, as is his wife. Good times and good memories. I was up at Keith's place in the N Van Highland area too and he was very nice but only met him for around 10mins but way down to earth.
