It will chug. Can’t wait to get myself one…
The high cut is very important on this amp. It can get fizzy. But its tameable
i have to use the overdrive or tube screamer to get where i want otherwise its weak and not very tight. i also prefer the vintage cab cus its way more saturated. then a 10 band eq after the amp. all in tone studio. oh i also use the mesa boogie vintage sneaky amp as well. way better then the stock amp models. i dont care much for any of the other sneaky amps. the 5150 is ok kinda but it takes alot of tweaking to get it just ok.

That’s as close as the katana is going to get it seems like. It chugs and has sizzle but it’s boxed in. I wonder if a different FRFR speaker would help.
