l prefer the goldtop.. but l to just so happens own them both
Tele I think takes it. More clarity to punch through a mix. But lets be honest. Both are gorgeous tone wise.

Playing the chords, both sound the same. Playing the single lines, the Gibson Les Paul sound fuller, but the Telecaster's biting tone nicely distinct.
While I miss my Les Paul, I am very glad to have held on to my Telecaster ????
