  • I wonder in 6-8 months of use how long the battery will last? I have the lag hivibe it's ok just, but battery life is ridiculous, these guitar's are very much a gimmick tbh

  • One thing to keep in mind: it has an app to configure it. Usually, a guitar will survive generations. But will that app still be supported/maintained in 10 years?

  • It's a great time to be alive with all this new technology… I'm gonna have to get a second job just to afford my guitar addiction ????

  • Ordered one in December.
Sweetwater called me yesterday to let me know MIGHT get it by the end of April.

  • At the beginning of December 2024, I paid and ordered my “YAMAHA TRANSACOUSTIC TAG3 C NATURAL”.

A few days ago I received an e-mail from the distributor in Barcelona (ALFASONI) telling me that I will still have to wait four or five months…, when I bought it I was told that I would have it at the end of January 2025…

I still want it, but I'm not very excited…

  • What is the point of demonstrating an instrument such as this then, when you search for a UK stockist so you can try one out you're told that the earliest any UK musical instrument retailer will receive stock is early March/April? It's ridiculous. Come on Yamaha, get your f…..g act together.

  • Thanks Pete and Andertons, best demo I’ve seen of this guitar. I must admit that thing is pretty cool and sounds great. I’m assuming you’d be able to swap in a new battery when the time comes. Very intuitive stuff.
Thanks again for the video. ????????

  • Amazing. But the guitar itself doesnt sound as good as it should for over $1500. I'll just buy a guitar that sounds good and use a far superior looper pedal. This needs to be sub $1000 to be a casual couch player.

  • Ooh, I wish they had a cedar/rosewood one. I love the clean fretboard with no inlays.

  • That looper drives me mad! I love this guitar i would Insta buy it BUT. Why cant you just TAP to Start the Loop….. You Always have to Start with the loop and set it up what a crap. I want to record the chords I solo over mid Song!!!!! So i dont need a second guitarist with me. If that would work I would buy it in a second. Drives me mad ????

  • I bought a transacoustic with a hard case a couple years back for $800 new zealand. Was an absolute score. I didn't understand why these guitars weren't more popular because buying one new wasn't easy here in NZ.

Now that these have delay and a looper now surely these are a game changer. Perfect example of technology improving on tradition without it being tacky.

  • I want one of these. My only reservation is the same one I have with the Fender Acoustasonic: a regular acoustic can last literally hundreds of years. This thing has a lithium ion battery that's going to be fucked in a few years.

  • They're actuators, not "attenuators", otherwise spot on. They should be back in stock next week (~11/11/24), and mines on order. ????

  • I ordered one immediately and I think I got the last one in Guitar Center's stock from back east before it went into backorder status. I figured that would happen. I haven't had a such a positive excited reaction to a new guitar like this in 30 years. It's a load of fun! I still have my regular great high end guitars. But this is great for inspiration and songwriting,

  • Why not build in a drum machine; a brass section a bass guitar and an entire recording studio and three background singer. This is just one of these stupid gadgets that won't stick. You can't replace playing in a band with all that digital crap.

  • Big problem with this guitar – what happens when you lose the bespoke charging cable (future expense)? Why haven't you used USB C for the cable so its easy to charge? The Battery that comes with it built in so you cant replace yourself, what happens when that fails (more cost)? but more importantly if you've got a gig planned and it hasn't charged you cant replace the batteries like with the original TA guitars. Great idea for a guitar but with stupid electrical implementation.

  • This one is screaming out for a Guitar Paradiso episode with Mick & Pete.

  • Really awesome features. Playing songs or backing tracks to play along through the guitar itself is amazing! I'm going to grab one as soon as it goes on sale in the used market.????

  • Every now and then a real true game changing instrument or tool. This is one of those for sure. Super cool
