I meant I'm never buying a brand NEW guitar ever again so this doesn't count ????
You can definitely beat a black n white strat, with a white n black strat.
Ignorant fool
My son's first guitar. got it at Target ????
Maple necks got a brighter twang amirite?
I dig the bumper stickers on your case!
Could be worth millions? You're full of shit, no more than $100!
One of my first guitars was a Starcaster.
Click bait title. Starcaster is the department store cheap version stratocaster but I think you probably knew that.
Absolutely 100% worth it experiment explore improvise to your hearts content
There's a nice difference between both strats
As regarding sound colour texture enjoy

It's a cheap crap guitar
They're crap.
Starcaster is worth about $20 bucks but hey it plays right.
they even sold these at best buy.
Sarcastic is a hollow body
I really like its sound. I recently saw a video about the cheapest guitar on Amazon and not only did it look wicked but I really enjoyed the sound…
Wow. thats not a Starcaser. They are semi hollow
If only it still had its Unicorn hide case! If you know what to look for most guitars from thrift stores can be brought up to a standard that would suit some one from newbie to a player looking for a quirky specialist, novel sound axe for that one song in the set. Or to practice setting up guitars.
It's a cheap import.
I've got one of those in a box somewhere.
CostcoCaster is what these are…
$35 well spent
Fantastic playing! I use my Starcaster Strat in my classroom and it always surprises me how good it sounds and how playable it is.
This is the exact same as my first guitar. I learned on it and still use it. Mine neck pickup even turned yellow. It was something fender made for Costco.
They are pretty much squiers strats with hss configuration. Nothing special about them but I have a soft spot for mine since I learned on it. And it sounds fine and plays fine. I love the neck pickup so much.
This video is like an example of the placebo effect. There’s truly nothing special about these guitars
They been making them about at least 15 years they are basically the same thing a squire affinity series about the only reason i would buy it is because of the fat 70s style headstock. Nothing but a two hundred dollar guitar àt best..
Starcaster was something Walmart sold as a beginner guitar. I bou????1 for $70 after setting it up it sounds better than my squire stratocaster. I sware the pickups have a fantastic tone for Blue's, jazz, rock country, whatever I need to play really.
