I bought mine, a 1965 model, for $150, at a pawn shop in Elko Nevada, back in 1997. Perfect working order. They’re crap for live work, but they do sound great for studio applications-
Thanks ????????????
You can actually go cheaper with a p bass too. John Mayer's bassist brought his nice lakland out to a studio gig and they made him play a cheap off-brand p bass off the wall instead
I have a B12X, which has a 12" (C12N) speaker and tweeter, in a larger cabinet than the B15. The 12" speaker records better, and sounds better imho.
$600!? ???? that's great
Classic Ampeg B15 seems like its the Real Mccoy of of Bass AMps….Dopeness…
$600!?? I hate you. 😉 Killer amp man congrats!
both of my Indonesian basses (Squier Jazz and Squier P-bass) sound great, for the money i spent on them (400 for the Jazz new, 115 for the P-bass used).
to a point, there's a quality bump you can hear, but often it comes down to player ability along with the hardware you're using, imho (which ik no one asked)
Should’ve offered him 500 ????
Great find
❤awsome ????
