  • Occasionally I get into a rut where I'm not inspired to play anymore, but then I stumble on one of these videos and grin ear to ear when I hear that sound coming from the amps. Good work, man!

  • Oh man I’m so glad this popped into my feed, you’re a true weedian my dude. I loved how perfect it was when all the amps came together.

  • Great sound and budget friendly. I love the Big Muff with a rat in front of it. I’m using a Randall rx120rh head on clean channel with big muff, rat, and an Axiom Effects PAE-1 Power Amp Emulator in the fx loop to get some thick emulated power amp gain to add to rat and muff. I also have another rig with Acorn Amps Solid State preamp (Peavey Decade preamp) with an SD-1 in front of it and PAE-1 right before the power amp. Gritty, fuzzy, monstrous sound. Also budget friendly. I run that SD-1, SolidState Preamp, PAE-1 straight into power amp and for both rigs use a Digitech Drop in C standard. Stoner/doom heaven.

  • Cool setup man, I’m not too big on stoner metal but I appreciate that having all those pedals and amps, literally is required for this crazy fuzzy music.

  • Sounds fucking amazing bro. I’m huge into this shit and play bass. My main rig is a thunderbird bass, orange crush pro 120 head and ampeg 4×10 with a ds1 and Morley wah. But my bedroom rig is literally just a shitty first act combo amp with built in overdrive ???? great vid man keep it up

  • Ok so you’ve obviously done your homework and know your gear but at the end of the day are seriously going to lug all that shit around to play shows? I’ve been doing this for about 40 years now and you do realize the tone you’re hearing there in your room compared to a live setting with other instruments will be different right? The audience will not hear the difference either. I play stoner and I use the Orange SuperCrush 100 and 2 12” with no pedals and literally get the same sound live. Simple and non-complicated is my goal and advice here. Yeah it’s fun to play around with all that gear but if you don’t have roadies and techs following you around it’s a all a pain in the ass ????

  • It’s pretty rare to find someone who’s really into stoner doom, listens to Wu Tang and lives in their parents basement. Bros just like me fr fr

  • super OD into a Rat into a green big muff is a doom monster swallowing our pity world. love it! I put a SD-1 clone (Wampler Triumph) in front of an EQD Hoof and it is going somewhere the same direction. keep up the bong, dude.

  • dude this fuckin rips my buddy and i are trying to make a doom/sludge project and we have a lot of these pedals but werent sure how to use em and which to use… this was really helpful actually for that since i have the exact same super overdrive and green big muff as well as the black mass 1312 kind of a rat clone, maybe can combine all those together for our project, we split an OR15 and pumping it through my orange 2×12 with a V30 and Creamback and sounds choice. Also! the behringer and hm-2 sounded super sick. good thick sustaining drone tone and I'm sure can be massive in the room. hell yeah. and if you dont mind a bit more expensive pedals, check out the fuzzlord and doesitdoom pedal lineups…. also the pharaoh fuzz … endless pedals lol what a funny community of guitar shit 🙂

  • Brother. Idk how my algorithm led me to your video but I’m glad it did. Those tones are fucking sick.
