All of them ❤I was in the 1996 are you experienced national guitar competition held by fender I played wind cry’s Mary Mitch Mitchell picked my tape out of 250,000 applicants I was 11 in the lineup of kids that competed against each other that was like 12 of us for the 16 year old competition. I got to play with Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding and there was this giant poster of Jimis face in purple guitars that was like 100 feet across the room just huge, so it’s like I was looking directly at Jimis face while I played with his band in his town, Seattle with his dad, watching, and his sister is there too they gave me award fender, sponsored it for the coolest thing I ever got to do in my life. I guess my names on a plaque somewhere in experience museum.my names Chris Reed I didn’t know any Jimi Hendrix before the competition? For some reason wind cries Mary resonated with me and I was a fan but I didn’t particularly know any guitar parts. I just thought it was funny that I got picked. I did learn some blues from him and B.B. King so there was that finger print sometimes your soul is like someone else’s soul and it just clicks. There’s no rhyme or reason I love Jimi Hendrix probably more now than ever I finally went back and learned everything that was interesting. I highly recommend that it’s fun.????❤
