He literally has NO bad notes.
You only need to hear one note, and you’ll instantly know it’s BB.
I was supposed to see BB king with my grandpa when I was a kid. My mom said no and I will never forgive her for that
8 gauge on a 24,75" scale is easy to bend.
Wonderfully, A love BB King, for bending go to Jerry Donahue
No one had a better vibrato than the king. He put his signature all over it.
“Does that come out of the T-Bone-Walker-style, or does that come out of-“
“Noooo…”
Well i will tell you one thing– talking about deconstructing BB King's Style (hence money maker) is a terrible idea. So BB King turns it around to his advantage by making the question or 'discovery' if you will.. part of his Blues Unique Style added to the T-Bone Walker school. So i simply cringe at the entire 'conversation' if you will and realize that it simply belongs again to an interviewer who is highly inept and intrusive towards a musical genius. BB King is trying to be polite here regarding this intrusive pile of horse manure or 'interviewer' if you will. SFP (Music critic.)
I’m a guitarist.
I don’t like blues.
B.B. is a legend and changed the way I play.
What an absolute legend.
How can I watch the full interview? Any link?
I shook hands with BB King at a concert in a sale barn in Mississippi. It was a Medgar Evers celebration and wasn't broadly advertised. There weren't but about 50 people there. ????????
I love bb king ,he acts like he dont think hes all that but he really is
Wow. That sweet tone
Why do people have to die? Why?? So much lost.
Good interviewer
BB plays 8 notes, and it stirs something up within me that no pop artist could do with multiple records
Special blues technique? It’s basic to the blues or guitar in general.
The tone and vibrato!
if i bend down i sometimes use the 1st. up is 3rd. i’m prob doing it wrong.
Hownis that unique? I bend like that cause it's my strongest finger and I play like sheet…I can only bend from the japanese pentatonic onto that one extra note…any other part of thw fretboard and I have no idea what I'm doing, apart from the cool vibrato or whatever…
Dude sketches with more detail than I paint.
When someone says "when most people do this.." they know Jack shit about the subject, I know plenty guitarists who do it like that simply Because it's practical to find the efficient and effective way to go about your thing.
Don't think the mainstream methods and techniques are gospel.
Don't take this video as gospel….
Experiment!, be creative and have a big bag of effective tools to use, and collect more moves than you need for your future self to draw on when the time comes, you won't disappointed.
please donate to those afflicted by this rare disorder “no soul” syndrome
He had huge fingers that's why he could easily bend with his first finger
I like how many great guitarists are too humble to take ownership of their own styles or techniques only to give respect to the ones who came before them
I didn't know Stanley Hudson played the guitar…
Who else bends with there 2nd finger
Magia salen de esos dedos del gran BB King
I always bend the strings with my first finger. It’s just more natural.
Very informed interviewer with great questions. Miss BB king. The hardest working man in music
Bb king can hit then notes
