They all sound great, yet different. Depending on the desired tone and how a song can dictate what is best is entirely subjective. It truly is based on the player's preferences and how they play. I personally love the sound and feel of an SG or a Les Paul. But hands down, dollars for donuts, I grab my Strat first. It's the most comfortable ergonomic guitar I own. Sometimes if I need something with a little more thickness, I'll get the SG or the LP, and sometimes for more bite, the Tele, but Strat is always the first one I grab.
