Hi Mark! I think it's a good idea to do the tutorial of "You can't hold no groove" by the great Victor Wooten. I think that song is a good "exercise" to get better, there are also a lot of different and interesting tachniques in the riff!
I'm in the middle of a Chord Tones Crash Course that takes up all my practice time, — but as soon as I get through it, I'm diving into the Billy's Bounce lessons! I've been working on "transcribing" My Favorite Things from memory, but it occurs to me I should find a recording to work from. Working from my memory of Julie Andrews version on The Sound of Music Soundtrack is probably not the best idea…
