http://www.premierguitar.com PG’s Joe Coffey is On Location in Des Moines, IA, where he catches up with blues guitarist extraordinaire Joe Bonamassa. In this portion, Joe talks and demos his current lineup of amps for the ongoing tour.
In this video segment, Joe shows off his amplifier setup during the 2009 tour. The four amp collection includes a 20 year old custom Bogner, a Marshall Jubilee, a JB-100 Carol-Ann (1 of 10) and a Van Weelden Twinkleland, which according to Joe is the only one in the US.
Be sure to check out the other Rig Rundowns with Joe Bonamassa as he walks us through his lineup of guitars and demos several of his pedals on his pedalboard. I wish there was a hubba hubba emoji where the eyebrows wiggle up and down. I'd use it here.????????????????
????❣
Wait, EJ uses Bogners?
I am getting my Silver Jubilee at the end of February 2023!!Straight from Marshall to Sweetwater sound to me!Built by order!!!!
he's correct. I have the 1987 Jubilee. best Marshall ever
love his tone
Great for Joe being cool that he sounds like Eric Johnson. Imagine Yngwie saying he sounds like someone ????
A Van Wieldon Twinkland? ????
Joe Seems "Womanish" Lol
" The amp never broke – retubed it only 20 times " Loi
Ooh! That tone with the Jubilee and Van Weelden played together starting at 5:38 is sweet!
I love how Joe just gets to the point
This kind of power is why two string chords sound monsterously good.
That tone is great in my ears……I wonder though is the silver jubilee or the Bogner the primary tone master offering the dynamic and buffered with the second tone ….together. Really a tone I would like to use. If I can find how to get it personally on the normal human buget.
eric johnson wants his rig back 🙂
don't worry dude – eric johnson doesn't have an original bone…your stuff is nothing like that. BTW did you ever listen to eric?
If you learn five of his runs you can get a pro gig!! No – Whitesnake is not considered pro – They played at a county fair recently with special Olympics children playing riffs to hit the bell – all of them used a silver tone sears guitar (you probably don't have a clue) and rung the bell using your proven techniques on how to be a kenny ….I mean rock guitarist. Try playing something that sounds cool to you – not your penis. We musicians have ocd – why not make it work for you instead of getting paid for dropping lhat loser Johnsons 4 signature facials. Althought – you do have that sound down very well. I apologize – your bank account must be PACKED…..Dr Colon
anyone know whetherr its his output master or lead master he sets at 10?
bet Joe would really dig a wizard amp!
That lydian lick at 3:26 woow!
Looks like the Bogner fling was short lived. Then again most of his amp flings (Jubilee aside) are short lived.
Love his humor…seems like a genuine professional without the ego.
just might be the coolist dude ever
I love how much Joe loves gear.
Lol who doesn't want to sound a little ej. Nice tones for sure
That tone, pphhhoaar!
everytime i see his rig rundowns (there are many) his amp setups all changed except for the Marshall Jubilee.
Eric Johnson looks different in this vid.
