Hi! Thank you for this video. I am actually on a look out for a travel guitar. I just wonder how this compares to the Donner Hush I Pro especially in terms of how it sounds since I guess this is its direct competitor.
Huh, it looks like they forgot to route the slot for Yamaha's incoming cease-and-desist 😀
But to be honest it was about time for someone to do a knockoff of the SLG's. Might force Yamaha to finally innovate a bit after over a decade 🙂
I like this. I want it. Is there a cord wall connector? How loud is it without the amp? I've seen a demo by 30 cycle hum… but keep in mind, it's like a practice guitar. Though I can see myself using this for recording.
Can you please measure the e tone distance at both ends?
How about using nylon classical strings
Nut width please
would u recommend this just to play at home???
Great review! I'm wondering how this compares to the Donner Hush I Pro. Any specific areas you prefer one over the other?
Hello, can someone share the nut lengths in millimeter?
I'm interested in buying the Sonicake QGT-01, but there are a few points about which I have serious doubts.
How can I avoid / bypass reverberation completely?
What happens when the battery reaches the end of its life (rechargeable batteries don't last forever)?
Is it possible to remove that ugly “horn” which apparently serves no purpose?
Is it possible to connect it directly to the computer with the USB cable?
I need a nylon version of this!
First, I applaud your presentation on the guitar. Very clear and concise. I owned a Yamaha Silent guitar nylon string version for a couple years. I liked it but ultimately didn’t play it enough to keep it around. I have considered buying their steel string version but just haven’t yet. This model looks very similar to the Yamaha but differs in the variety of preset tones that are available. Plus, I think the effects are done better on the Sonicake. The only thing I don’t like is the little horn extending from the lower horn. It reminds me of something demonic. Is there a way to remove that? Thank you!
if I have to bring an amp with me, I dont understand why it would be more portable then just a parlor guitar.
Thanks, been looking for this. Bought it from your link
Great review, thanks! I'm considering an inexpensive "silent" guitar to relearn how to play. It's been decades and I miss it. I love the built in effects. I could see using this to play small pub gigs. Even if they don't have a PA system this could be run through a small wireless BOSE type speaker that could fit in this guitar's case.
