I don't get it? Why can't she play it? How is this different than just having access to two differently tuned bass guitars? Yes she can't use the exact same muscle memory to shape the chords because she can't get her hand around the neck but surely she could make something simple with it?
Mohini – there are a lot of peolpe that get it, just the fact that not all of us has had upbringing or the strong willpower of parents or oneself to skip on life to achieve perfection. you are an amazing player, that true – but bass without drums makes a fuckall of rithtm section.

That looks like a very poorly designed Chapman Stick . . It's TWO almost unplayable bass guitars. . Stupid idea and construction.

I think it's more of a toy than a bass. It's a cool novelty, but by the end of the night I don't know if I'd be able to walk with the weight of it on my back.

Lol, iv been a working bassist for 30 plus yrs n I wouldn't know where to start either… Unless i cut it in half n had two basses????. Can't even count how many strings it has. Hell i did good just counting to four i think. Then when 5strings first came out i wound up taking the b string off lol. When I got use to it finally then six came out. If anything i got educated in my counting. Still at the end of the day i always grabbed my 4 stringer. All my major influences all did it with 4 probably yalls too. Its cool to have 5,6, or a hundred string bass or a 17 neck monster. Always keep a bass with four, usually dont need no more lol. Besides when you listen to a album u can't see how many strings or necks anybody is playing. Most bass players i know including myself usually just used four cutting tracks n used all the crazy shit live. More so for a visual. Even if cant play that well n walk up with a double neck with 6 strings or 28 u look like u can get the fuck down lmao. Aint used nothing but a E string lmao. So that's my theory on that boys n girls. Either way just play and feel it. Next week we will cover basics on amp set up. Basically trust ur tech and bring him back some liquor too when you leave the bar. That's professional bass playing at its finest right there ????
