This is one of the most exciting additions to the shop to date—a 1990 Daniel Friederich concert model, No. 670, from the legendary French luthier whose guitars shaped generations of performers.
Its breathtaking sustain, lyrical treble response, and deeply resonant voice embody everything Friederich guitars are celebrated for. This particular instrument has been lovingly played, with honest wear on the cedar top, and remains in excellent structural and acoustic condition.
Playability is superb thanks to low action, tall frets, and a traditional D-shaped neck. If you’ve ever wondered why Friederich’s guitars are among the most revered in classical guitar history, this one will show you.
???? In this video, I explore the instrument’s expressive range and signature tone through a series of repertoire excerpts and reflections.

This 1990 Daniel Friederich concert model, No. 670, is truly a miracle!!!
yep that's definitely road worn!
Dream guitar.
The perfect classical guitar! I usually prefer spruce top guitars but when it comes to Friederich, this is another world. They are like pianos, I love them. Perfect balance from low to high notes which a beautiful tone on each notes and chords. And esthetically perfect! I have to try to build a replica one day. I got the Camino Verde book which includes a plan and a lot of informations. I highly recommend that book.
