Probably the biggest aspect to his tone is how percussive he picks by keeping his wrist really relaxed, and using his arm too to help when he wanted more girth. Second aspect would be his intonation, third comes equipment

Just got the KH version and a max grip. It took me like an afternoon to figure out how to use it and itās like night and day.
Iām thinking rotating between the two picks, as whilst the max grip feels easier to use and is better at strumming, the jazz 3 can do pinch harmonics a LOT easier and does feel faster to play
