V5 is like precision basa
V5 is passive hence why it sounds so different. V3, V7, and V8 all have active preamps which is why they sound brighter.

….it's all about look and feel! Sire is Fire!!!! Every model sands on its own. You can't go wrong.
The upper register of the V7 is almost hifi like, incredible, V3 for the weight.
these basses sounded so good .. and yet affordable:)
