Back in the 80s every bass player was doing the Hot Water bass line in guitar shops with some status or Jaydee they couldn't afford. so i suppose that would be up there with banned behs riffs.

Are they on the far side of simplicity? If so, then that's crap as it's the simplicity that help to hold that band's songs like glue.

My usual riff when I try.a new bass is the intro to "Number of the beast" to check the high end and "Peter Gunn" for the low end. Good vid, but I agree that "The Chain" should not be banned. =P
