  • Thanks for the demonstration but I stay with my tc-helicon until boss makes one that can decide key from a guitar input❤

  • Best tutorial on this Boss VE-22. Thank you for the singing aspect and going in depth of what this vocal performer can do.

  • I really like all these new vocal pedals out now. I've not used any of them but in the past I've owned 2 different t.c. helicon rack mount harmony processors. One was the 1st version then had the "plus" version which was alot better. Can't remember the exact names of them but you didn't have to use an instrument with them like some of the newer ones do. The plus one was great. 5 part harmonies that were spot on. So many great toys that we have at our disposal now it's great. Especially for smaller bands that don't have but 1 or 2 vocalists. I remember using one of the ones I had with this power trios I played in at a live show on a couple of songs with all 3 of us singing. People thought we had lipsynced them lol. It was such a wall of vocals. I remember it taking us about 2 hours getting it set just right for the set. So all in all it was like about 10/12 people singing. The looks on people's faces was priceless. Anyways, man you are an awesome singer. And this was a great tutorial. Kinda leaning towards this processor.

  • So I’ve had my Boss VE22 for about three months, still learning, and will probably learn more in the coming year. I love just about everything that I’ve tried out, from the harmonies, to the sound effects. It has changed how I approach certain songs. I do have a question, it’s about the off chords. I notice, of course, since you can’t plug in a guitar to help with the chord changes, that if you play an off chord, there are harmony notes that don’t line up. Say A will not drop to Ab when you sing Ab. Is there any way to fix that? Maybe a pedal to help with that, or a guitar interface pedal? Just curious, as I have seen other harmony pedals that allow for that. I think it’s the one draw back from this pedal, but again, everything else is quite nice!

    Thanks for the thorough tutorial!

  • Just bought this pedal and came to YouTube to make sure I made the right decision after messing with it for two hours… the answer is yes, yes I did. Thanks for this, great review.

  • Brill…thank you. Bought the pedal, and now trying to understand it, and get the best use from it! Like you, I want to programme it ONCE, then simply click for my echo, harmonies, or some reverb…and just as easily bypass it all in between songs. Great demo!

  • wow didn’t know you could sing like that! Super talented dude! This pedals lack of plugging in the guitar to trigger the harmony note makes it unusable for gigging performers. Who’s going to reach down and change the note with the dials for each song???
