  • I know how long it is between string changes on my acoustic guitars, I can't image what it would be for a bass.

  • Very interesting vid shak, was really good to hear the different sound variations.
    I only own one bass, I'm more a guitar player but do dabble in bass here and there.
    I fully get what you mean about having that accessible instrument laying around your house.
    I'm like that with my acoustic guitar…if I didn't have my acoustic guitar laying around the house, I wouldn't play guitar as much as I do – it's convenient in the moment. So I can fully appreciate that it's probably the same for the bass.

    Can't remember the last time I seen an acoustic bass – it's such a good shout having one laying around the house though, may get me playing bass more. Thanks Shak
