A-P
The P-bass for this song, no doubt about it.
It seems like you're comparing a neck PU with a bridge PU.
Stingray with the treble turned down
Stingray all the way
Why not a P MM config?
Both… I prefer not to choose!
I just grab a PJ, mainly use the J bridge for the same quack.
P bass
The stingray, of course
Stingray, but it was recorded on a Jazz.
Stingray all day everyday 4 me.
Sting
Stingray
B, o music man tem mais presença no som
Pbass
Prefer the old school warm round sounding sustain of the P Bass. The stingray has a nice sound too with the tones achievable. I tried a mates many years ago, and wouldn’t mind one of the earlier ones, if I could find a good clean one!
The stingray always brings so much attention to itself with such a nasaly sound. Works for some things, but the P just smoothly fits in this song
Is it possible to combine both? Like a pj bass but PS? ????
Why do people always reach for a P bass? It's so unimaginative and sheep-like when there are so many other great basses.
To me the P sounds like it is strung with rounds, the Stingray sounds more focused and lacks the buzz of the rounds on the P. Are both basses equipped with the same strings?
Stingray
Stingray my tipe of my fav bass
I have not played a stingray that does not feel like a peice of plywood
Stingray. It has a nice punch with a 90’s type soul/funk tone…I love P basses but I think that is a little too old school for this track
Personally I would probably choose a J for this song but that’s just how it speaks to me. All three sound solid in their own way
B. But that wine red P Bass looks awesome!!!
Sting Ray is perfect????
P Bass first, but stingray I love!!!
P
nice color of p-bass!
P bass works for every type of music. I traded my stingray. I like when other people play em, but I didn't like it myself.
I play it on a StingRay. Tbh there's nothing it can't do
I honestly feel like P bass are great at blending in and adding that necessary bottom end but the Stingray is designed to cut through the mix and stand out while still providing some good bottom end. Im all about the stingray myself because i like standout
P bass sound ???? stingray????, fuck siting in the mix.
P sits in the mix much better, ray is great but far too present.
“P bass”!!!
P bass for this song but I like the Stingray sound more.
Wait, that's a short scale stingray. ????
The G&L L2000 sounds like a mix of both.
For this: Stingray
