Such a practical, thorough lesson, with so many on-ramps to learning the piece. I already have a pretty good tremolo technique, and this a good vehicle to put it to the test. Thanks! ????????
Tab
The very best tutorial on this piece..I learned it over a period of a year ironing out trouble spots but you have "cleared" up many nuances very simply explained. That Barre chords in Eminor was a thing to finally get the muscles in control. Thanks.
Very good lesson. I've seen some lessons where you play the D7 before the B7 at the end of the first piece and it sounds really nice as does just playing the B7 but it gives it a bit more movement. Also you don't have to finger a full B7, you're not playing the D string and most demos use 2nd 3rd and 4th fingers as in playing the full B7 chord which is not needed, meaning you have to do an awkward slide with your pinkie, where you can just finger with your 1st 2nd and 3rd, your little finger is free just to play the G note on the E string. Works really well when you play the D7 first because your 2nd and 3rd finger are anchored already for the B7 shaoe, you're just moving your first finger to the A string before playing the G note on the E string with your free pinkie. Now I know Iam coming off as an ignorant know it all here and that is not my intention you are a massively more accomplished guitar player than I will ever be and the way you play it is the way I used to play it until I learned about the D7 but all the fingering on that section however you play it, from ever demo I've seen is just awkward and unnessesery so I guess I'am just a bit confused why most player play it that way. I think for a beginner the way I play it will seem easier and more natural especially for a beginner.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU EXPLAINED SO WELL.
Crystal clear demonstration! Love it. Thank you.
great tips. Thanks.
I echo some here: you are a very teacher. I want to thank you for getting me through this tune.
what is your guitar?

You speak looooooot
You are such a fabulous teacher. I love the various options. I have decided to pick up my classical guitar again after about 20 years and your lesson has helped my confidence tremendously. Thank you very much for encouraging me to enjoy playing again.
He is not teaching you how to, he is just showing off his skills.
Thanks for the free music/tabs, lots of people charge a few dollars (OK), but make it so complicated (hate online order), and great lesson too.
This is the tune that made decide to learn to play the guitar, it's just beautiful …………..
I wasn't aware that it could be played in various styles. Your demonstration of the Tremelo version was superb, so much feeling! Fantastic tutorial.
Thank you so much

6:51 that's me
Nice to see someone deal with the tricky rest strokes often ignored by other lessons I've seen. So important to hold the bass harmony and the melody in the triplets. Good advice about starting with free strokes until you're up to speed.
Nice lesson! I'm a drummer but I'm considering studying classical guitar as well
I love this song and i got the first part but when it comes to the bar i am not sure what chord i am playing or where my fingers go. can you show exactly where your fingers are and slowly if you can please.
great teacher from a teacher excellent
Fucksake, could this guy draw this out any longer? He makes it way more complicated than it needs to be. I wanted to punch him half way through. There another video out there, where I learned the song in 5 minutes. Someone should stop this guy making videos.
Thank you so much!!! You made P2 more easier to play.
Have you seen his thumb
Amazing teacher best I have seen.
I've been searching through many "easy" videos. You've made this manageable. So grateful as the search has been discouraging. You've explained things very well! Thank you!!
Thanks man. I've seen about a dozen vids by searching under the different names (Romanza, Forbidden Games, etc). One as long as 29 minutes and another as short as 2 minutes. One even wanted $20 for the DVD.
Anyway, YOURS rocks, and is what I'll be using. You didn't dwell on anything and you didn't skim over any parts. I appreciate you also offering the variations!
Thanks for volunteering your time [the most precious thing we have] and putting this up for us.
Excellent!
Great Teacher = Great Lesson! Thank you!!
Could you tell me if I use my middle finger for 3 or not
your explanation is for advance level, could you make it easier???but you are bad ass!!

I would very much appreciate a tutorial on Sors variations of Mozarts magic flute theme, but please dont tell us, show us.
I love this type of music but my friends all think of me as a little bitch. What should I do?
Nicely done! I watched this about 10 times using the tab to learn my first proper piece. Great technique tips as well. Thanks!
