I have the Katana 100 MK2 and I can tell your settings are working right out of the box and oh God thats sweeet. I couldn't believe it. Do the Katanas have an analog input or are they entirely digital like other modelers?

The amp settings are very unintuitive, you have to be really creative to figure this out. Sounds great!

Sounds very green
What’s funny to me is that for all of the tinkering required to dial this in, it basically sounds like a fat Strat more than a traditional Les Paul. Would probably be easier to use a Strat with some compression, a touch of drive, some reverb, and maybe a little boost.
Green had such a shrill sound that I would have thought no mids were required.

This has come too late for me, unfortunately. Sold it and moved on to a Nextone (with which I am VERY happy with). Don’t understand why they didn’t catch on like the Kat – they sound HUGE in comparison (not banging on the Kat, though, as it is some 100$ cheaper).
Katana is all ya need – no meed for heavy old noisy Marshall Plexis!
