  • Like butter!! What a beautiful guitar. I would have to sell 10 of my guitars…including my 214ce…just to get that guitar. Yum.

  • Dude you have got to stop looking like you are playing concert at the Kennedy Center or something. You do a nice job of presenting the various guitars. Let it just stop at that.

  • A very comprehensive review. I might add I have recently acquired a 618e and it's unlike any guitar I have ever played. The player will know this immediately if you get a chance to try one out, I highly recommend you do, just spend a little time with it, especially if it has that new string brightness you might want to play through.
All the boominess of rosewood is gone, instead, deep bass articulation with sweet mids and highs are all present in big, balanced helpings. A strummer and a picker in one, terrific too for vocal accompaniment and a bluegrass monster where you can really hear each string flatpicked.
One thing not mentioned. The tuners are amazing, silky smooth and deadly accurate, tuning is almost a pleasure. This is one big country guitar for the serious musician.

  • I’m looking for a new guitar and this is about double my budget, but I may have to make a way. Sounds amazing!
