Ready to win some awesome bass prizes? Applauded for their attention to detail, the Fodera Monarch has become an increasingly familiar sight within the bass world, largely thanks to Victor Wooten’s breathtaking bass displays. The only downside being that customers often face a two-year wait, sometimes more, for their new bass to be built! But what if you could win the Fodera that I’m playing in this video? Find out how in today’s episode!

Video Breakdown:

00:00 – Introduction
00:34 – One-Of-One Custom Fodera (The Sound)
01:00 – Why Is It Unique?
03:00 – The Controls
05:16 – How To Win This Bass!

  • I remember when I wanted a fodera, took a look at the price tag and said “fender jazz it is!” Lol

  • I REALLY want to like that bass. The top is beautiful. I wish there were not so many controls and I don't like the 12 & 24 fret markers though.

  • Is there an electrical impedance difference on that Fodera between the neck and bridge coils? They're so close together that to me it seems like a missed opportunity not to have a bigger distance between the coils.

  • That's not a bass, it a piece of art! I would love to learn how to play bass, but such a bass in the hands of a noob like myself would be a sacrilege!!!

  • Scott I entered the contest and if I win I'm going to help some young players or anyone who showed they're keen to learn but we have just lost our music shop in town because of the cost of renting in Australia so sad I'm losing everyone near me happy new year Scott remember God is always here with us God bless all those people doing it tough and hope that you can get your website to everyone to insure that they learn the basics and beyond happy new year 2025

  • Scott I have a Brazilian Rosewood classical nylon string incredible tone I'm not allowed to travel with it I have back nerves pinched they can't operate on it so when I hear that bass I'm so impressed it's areal instrument

  • I don't even want this bass. The wood was probably harvested under such horrible conditions… every time I saw it I would wonder how much blood was shed for it

  • the best basses on there is the Rickenbacker and the Fender Jazz! thank you so much for doing this Scott and Ian! I actually signed up for the giveaway and I really hope I win one of them. very unlikely, but I don't want to doubt to much! and i'm sincerely sorry about the pick opinion when I said that "Who would use a pick?!?" if you saw that comment. but, building schools for the children is a great thing to do! and I just hope that I get one of the basses! once again, thank you so much you guys!????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  • Hey Scott! May I ask you, what exact gloves are you using? How long do they last? I'm having an issue with finding flatwound strings in combination with my sweat VERY sticky… And I thought that gloves might fix this problem!

  • The sound level is as appallingly low as the level of clickbait 😛

    Not a neck-through, so meh.

  • That Spacehog riff on the Rickenbacker is killer!

BTW I spotted a small editing mixup, on the Overwater, the back shown is the Rick.
