Based on what you said, I wrote down the following,, but i feel like something is wrong. Please correct me:
The open A chord has the following notes:
A
C#
E
And A7 has “G” as well.
Ok now going to the three versions of diminished, the notes would be like this:
Basic:
A
C
D#
Half:
A
C
D#
F#
Full:
A
C
D#
F (cause we flattened twice so it went from G originally to F)
Right???

Hi, in a diatonic relationship of chords with a major scale we play the 1st 4th and 5th major and 2nd 3rd and 6th minor and 7th diminished so I just wanted to ask you if it's a full diminished or half diminished chord that we need to play?

Learning scales is like trying to measure a coastline. Much better to understand the keys and the chords, of which scales derive. 1-3-5-7(dom,maj)-9(2nd)-11(4th)-13(6th),augmented and diminished.
