Yea, typically baritones are used for lower tunings, for songs that call for it. I don’t think Blink182 is a good way to show off a baritone.
A lot of chords get drowned in the baritones low muddy sound, so it’s ideal to use more wide chord intervals
I think the baritone is going to be very specific use case, the normal is well, everyday. It’s not really better or worse, the tones are too far apart

I prefer the sound of the Baritone but I'd say testing a solid bodied electric against a semi acoustic provides completely different tonal results
