So If I’m a bit above G will I have to go up another octave in my tuning?????????
I did this and my string broke
❤
True tune up eliminates string slacking
I also use harmonics on the 12th fret and 7th to tune
I didn't know why, but I always thought it was better to go up to the note rather than down.
I just started guitar yesterday cause I got a guitar for my birthday this is confusing
I overtuned the bass to a extended low-high range
Bruh ….. The guitar decides …… Why complicate things …. Just tune it…. Typical chick
What if your flat?!?????????????????????????
Especially important on budget or mid-price guitars where the tuners may not be all that exact anyway.
I thought this was common knowledge
It also sounds cooler when you tune down to go back up, it make you sound like you know what your doing ????
Well what happens up i am low and need to tune up
Not sure why this is right, but through trial and error I’ve learned she’s absolutely correct about this..
actually you tune the guitar to itself
So idiot lady when I want to play a song on a drop D I should d tune some strings
Helped me ever since I saw this vid
Tune downward to tune upward. If it's up too high and you want to tune it down tune it down lower to tune it up. It will keep the string tighter like the girl said and it will be easier to hear when it's finally tuned to the right spec. Tuning down is sloppy and leaves slack. Tuning up is precise and tight.
Yeah, usually I tune up every string to its highest pitch, to a point of almost no return then tune all the way down to the right pitch. I go through packs of strings every time I tune my guitar. Stretching your strings and warping the guitar makes it sound better. Don’t listen to this video!!!
i thought the idea was to be in tune
I tuned up to the note, but the string decided it didn't want to live
What if my string broke
Better give this a try. Could save me a lot of time fiddling about before I busk or play in front of a crowd.
You turn the pegs on the left upwards and the ones on the right downwards
Also stretch your strings a little bit
Tune down under the pitch of the note. Then pull the string????… Now tune up to the note. Pulling the sting removes any slack that could of been hung up on the nut.???? …..???? ❤️????
what if i’m sharp
You know what I'm just going to shut up
I’m so confused rn ????
If you have a modern locking tuners it doesn't matter how you tune.
