  • Weird question, but could this guitar satisfy someone to play anything heavy like Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth etc…
If I got one of these it’d be my only guitar, and i like music from clean, chimey, to high gain

  • I find the string tension on this guitar to be a bit stiff (given the shortish scale) and the whammy bar requires quite a lot effort to dip the pitch more than a semitone. Also the third string goes very sharp after using tremolo… This is what I'd expect from a cheap guitar and not a Suhr.    I am trying to get a response from Suhr on this – so far all I have gotten is advice to detune by a 1/2 step – yes – seriously !  Does anyone else here have any issues with string tension feeling more like and acoustic guitar and a very stiff tremolo unit? Don't get me wrong, this is a good guitar and sounds good but it hurts to play it and I have been playing lead guitar since Jesus was 5.

  • Great video! Besides the physical differences, how does the suhr standard plus compare to the suhr classic s? TIA

  • Great demo. I have a question for anyone who can answer: any opinions on whether this model has enough spank and presence to serve as a decent rhythm guitar? Asking because it seems like for leads etc. it's definitely smooth and balanced etc. but I like some teeth when I play funk or rock rhythm. Something that will cut. Thoughts?
