Is the input of this card easy to clip or its good tried a few interface and always clipping the input I dont record i just play neural plugins true it thinking of buying that soundcard

00:02 lmaoooo. Already enthued with this. Im shopping around for an interface and wanna cover my favorite artists type -0 and Wednesday 13. I just struggle to get and use software. The one set failed me ao did my scarlet 2i2. Nothing seens to work as i tried to get help and troubleshoot
Been thinking about buying one of these and doing some research. The reason you can't use the uad apollo plugins on this is that it doesn't have the dsp chip in it that the apollo plugins do. The apllo doesn't just "unlock" the hardware specific plugins, they actually run on it. However, there are "Native" versions of the plugins that you can buy now and run on the cpu itself with this interface, or even without any UAD hardware at all.
Hello Ola! Awesome review. Im building a home studio and I need to buy a AI and came across the Universal Ausio Volt 1. I want to be able to plug in a guitar and a microphone and use Neural DSP plugins and record some stuff on Cakewalk. Is Volt1 the interface that covers all these?
I am an electronic drum user, can I use this sound card?

Compared to the Behringer UMC22, is this one a big jump in quality? I mainly want to reduce noise. The UMC22 is ok but it gets noisy with gain from plugins.
When I record with Volt 276 straight into iPhone camera it sends all the audio left?

I don't know if you realize this but most guitar players plug a mic into the interface and then put the microphone in front of a speaker cabinet lol it would have been great to hear you include that in the demo as opposed to only focusing on di which I've never actually seen anyone ever do to be honest lol

what is good speaker set for under $350?
For context the round trip on an X32 digital console from remote AES50 stage box through the consoles and back out into analogue is 8ms ( 2.74 m of distance). More or less you are in un-notable territory. When it comes to the in-room phase alignment of the source & playback at that soft of offset you re no where near nulling territory.
Well, and my laptops don't have a usb-c port. Don't discriminate against value pcs and laptops! If you can afford a new laptop or macbook with usb c, you can afford a cable 😛

They didn't include it because is the cheaper version ???? why would they put a more expensive cable in the cheaper version

these days, UAD native plug ins work fine with this or any other interface
they sampled white noise, then added a fade out, like a reverse noise gate, and called it "vintage" ?

Do I get you right, the Volt comes with plugins that cannot be used unless you have an additional UAD hardware connected?
They do this on purpose, buy the higher priced interface unfortunately

Been using my Volt 2 for quite some time now. Love the simplicity and I have zero complaints.
Is the USB an output? If so does it work simultaneously with the monitor output?
The reason why you can't use the plugins with this unit is because it doesn't have the DSP to run them. These plugins run on the unit itself, not your computer.
Wait is that true so the free plugins that come with this if you log in untill 30.04.2023 will be not usable with this ??? Thats soo stupid if thats true

How how the fuck are you using a DSP plugin with it? I have a Volt 2 and it's not letting me use any plugins.

what it means it feels backwards with the cable, not everyone is youtuber and has a fresh macbook, thats why maybe a beginner buys the cheapest interface to use with hes cheapest asus laptop. and needs an old usb connection.
