Attempting to recreate Kurt Cobain’s guitar tone from the Nevermind boombox rehearsal demos, as heard on the 20th Anniversary edition of Nevermind. A tricky tone to recreate due to the nature of the lo-fi recordings, but believe I’ve gotten as close as I can!

I absolutely love your channel, you do an absolutely great job with your videos and I love the content. Nirvana has been a huge influence on me since I heard them in 1991 when I was 15 years old . Kurt was definitely a voice I think for my generation. When I heard their music and I heard the lyrics I knew somebody understood how I felt and got me ya

This is an awesome video and tone recreation! Would you ever do a video where you record The Man Who Sold The World but, as a studio recording, I think that would be a great idea considering Kurt never recorded the cover in the studio, I’d be curious to see what it could potentially sound like considering the only recordings we really have are the live ones and with the Unplugged unfortunately being the only closest to a full studio recording..
