I have a cheap one that is a midrange monster. I have it tuned to A standard (A to A instead of E to E, same intervals otherwise). It has to be tuning-sweetened, cuz I put D'Addario 10s on it, but it is ridiculously fun to play. It's my secret weapon. People who hear it in a certain recording that I did… they think it's an electric! ????
