  • I live in the North Central part of Arkansas. I do a pretty good job of covering the bass lines for any classic rock or country song any band I played with wanted to do. BUT, I never learned to solo.

    At least 90% of all the bass players I know never learned either so I think all lessons on this will be well received. Think back to when you worked up your first few simple solo licks. What song were they to? Can you slowly do a few simple licks that can be stringed together with future solo le

  • I wonder how can people not understand this without some videos?.. I mean come on, it's logical, that if you have 4 fingers, you should use all of thom in order to achieve the comfort and speed which is neceserely needed. It's like if you would have a lot of money, you could spend more, and if you don't have 'em, you can't spend them.. Obvious

  • This is a great post man. You've got mad chops. Can you please explain the notes you use to play the "killer" using the Cmaj scale? I'm having a hard time following because you run through it quickly. Good stuff though!! Thanks

  • Wow, thanks man. I've been in a rut, doing the same techniques over and over, but this has inspired me! Keep pumping out the vids, my goal now is to play like that in a year!
