i like the music
This must be a new thing or something cause I’ve seen this a few times. I’ve never had a click track playing in my ear. It’s always been the drummer in my ear or no ear piece at all.
Nah fr????????????????
Not me, I played with no click and no ear plugs. All I got was $80 and tinnitus. It's been 8 years, my ears are still ringing and my bassist still isn't loud enough.
Horse galloping strangely?
Where is this?
What band is playing and also song?
Song name please
That a feels so sad ????
so drummer is ruler of the band
That's cool, so I wonder what the lead singers hear? Like do the hear the same thing or do they hear the songs ?
Why? That's annoying! ????
Just play to the drummer
So is it a must to have click tracks ? Or optional ?
Everyone saying they do/recommend only one in ear… please consider the risk of tinnitus. That would probably be more annoying, i would imagine. I used to do the same thing but my band leader when I joined warned me to not do it cause his hearing got screwed that way ????
Rush never played with a ear piece ????
This would fuck me up . If i cant hear people enjoying it ill get to self conscious and in my head.
When I used to play live, all id have in my monitors was the drums and bass. Didnt really need myself in the mix there because my DSL100 and 4×12 still put out some decent volume on the stage. I was playing mainly rhythm so my thinking was always just nake sure i was locked in the other groove dudes.
Real question: so how do you hear if the crowd is screaming for you or booing you?? With all due respect, of course!!!
Its just a metronome innit
woulda never known lol
I never once played with a metronome. But he's accurate all you hear is your own music
One time my band played a venue with no monitors facing us. We literally had to rely on click to hear our timing together. Singing into a microphone and not hearing it back is very surreal in front of a crowd lol
Nobody thinks that
My question is, it seems like musicians feed off the crowd. So, how do they know if the crowd is into it?
No one thinks that
But wouldn't the bass sound a bit more full? For rhythm
I would go crazy
What I hear as a drummer is, that this Band should work on their timing skillz!
No ,that IS what I actually hear ????as a club/garage band
You gonna be the next pretty Ricky ???????????? watch them hands on control ????????????
So when an artist screams "I cant hear you!" They mean it. Huh.. got it.
As a drummer, my mix was like 50% click, 25% lead vox, and 25% everything else.
All i hear on stage is the BASS
Now thats coo a amazing .
Metronome. Smart.
And slowley go deaf and get tinnitis
Hear tech makes some bomb in ear devices
And that's why I love when artists reacts to the loud screams from us (Brazilians)
Thank you.. I never knew that.
