The Clueless Soundtrack: a 90’s time capsule
For some reason, I found myself drunk on Sunday with the Clueless Soundtrack in my hand. I guess it’s time for a retrospective looking back to 1995! There are a lot of pretty good covers on this album…
Do you like the 90’s?
*mistakes:
I said there were only 4 covers on this album, but there are 5.
During the Cracker part, I said “Tim Westerberg” when I meant to say “Paul Westerberg.” I guess I was thinking of the Replacements album Tim.
Let me know what you’re listening to.
Thanks for watching!
Late listening is usually a series of conversations between Crescent and Jasmine about music, but this time it’s only Chris. You are welcome to be a part of the conversation, too.

strong agree! great stuff, man
Thank you too.
Counting Crows cover on this is brilliant
I owned this back in the day, such great selection of tracks but I wound up selling a bunch of old soundtracks and compilations after making digital copies of the tracks I wanted. Wish I’d held onto that one. The Counting Crows cover is another one I still love to this day.
