i used a lot a sansamp bass driver and a od1
The DS 1 was the best sounding distortion. The overdrives all sounded good but not thick enough.
The best is the fuzz always fuzz better for bass not destroying the low end cause bass is a post to fill in the bottom end can’t be distracting and being all guitar like

Most of these pedals kills the low end of the bass unfortunately…

The Boss OS-2 is a great option as well. Back when I was a Muse fan, I got one and I must say that the sounds you can get from it are absolute monsters.

I agree totally with this video..people spending $500+ on bass pedals and they sound no different to ones u might have in your cupboard like the Ds-1, Pedal companies are getting greedy and we fall for it cos we are addicted
The source material told me the Blues Driver was the best choice for what your playing. I agree with the Tech21 Sam Amp as a choice someone mentioned.

Id say the blues driver retains most low end and is the best one out of those, second best being the tube screamer

The tube screamer was a real standout for me! That retains a good amount of low end, especially a lot more than I expected.
