This one is one of the best values I have yet seen! It has a voice of a guitar costing hundreds more. I also like the traditional and simple style. He is right it excels in single note soloing but… It also has a big, deep and breathy sweet .
If I were ever to buy a Breedlove it would have to be a Revival; I just plain hate the way their standard bridges and headstock and other appointments look.
@bluegrasssingingman You sir are an ignorant buffoon. Better check the expiry date on that Kool-Aid you're drinking. Anyone who claims that any one make of guitar is the best obviously knows nothing about instruments. Guitars are an incredibly subjective thing. You might love a certain guitar but the guy next to you hates it. Everyone has their own preferences for feel, tone, etc. And this is to say nothing of the fact that two examples of the same model can sound and feel very different.
I had a D35 and it was not all that great. They play like butter IF it's well setup after purchase. I have never played this model Breedlove but just by hearing this video I can tell it already sounds better than a 18, 28, or 35. Now if it plays as good as my D35 then Martin needs to look out. People need to face the fact that Martin cannot sit at the top of the acoustic world forever.
I love Martins. I think my high-end Lowden stands up with anything though.
Im with you man! I played a Breedlove d25 stage or studio dont remember had tons of abalone. sounded way better then any martin i've played! except 1, but it was a 3,000 dollar martin and not worth it in my opinion when I could just get a breed love foe 2,000 less
greatttt guitar!!! great playing!!! short
yeah, i love the guitar and this guy's playing. quite amazing!
