What app you used to identify your keys?
When i was sucking at harmonies,i always thought that if for example the song is Bminor and u wanna harmonize it in the 3rd minor, you have to transpose the song to Dminor but i realized it didnt always work. After i started to train my ear with the intervals, chords and scales,i learnt how to do them properly,i'm not really good, but at least my ear is better now and i can even tell the harms from a song without isolating the vocals and intrumental.
I learned by learning chords and scales on piano. Once I learned all the major scales, which is not hard, and practiced them, harmonies became much easier.
My thoughts as a n00b is if you have to google the key and chord and note, your ear needs more work.
Practicing scales is passive ear training. Over time you’ll hear the harmony, and have a lot of fun experimenting until you find the “chord” you’re looking for.
Not every harmony has the same effect, like chords, so experiment.
So straight forward and very easy to understand keep it up .thanks

I didn't really know I produced harmonies in my head by listening to the song once, but this definitely explains it a lot more, thank you <3
