  • Was that a bit of Ottmar Liebert? Really lovely playing throughout, and I appreciate hearing your thoughts on each guitar as you play them. I just found you as I was looking for more information on Iris guitars. I have a little Iris BB (I call her BaBy, don’t put her in the corner!). Bought online, shocked at how light and responsive and full of tone this little guitar is, I suspect that one or two 12 fretters are in my future. Subbed!

  • The Bourgeois OM sounded amazing, probably the best guitar you played on the road trip. Simply stunning. Lovely playing really brought out the tome.

  • The best sounding guitar I have ever played was a Martin 000-28 EC Eric Clapton model. It was at Willcutt Music in Lexington , KY…….great shop if you make it to KY.! It was out of my budget, but I've never forgotten it. Apparently they carve the braces and voice the tops differently on the EC model than they do on the standard 000-28 model. Enjoying these guitar shop videos. It is important to keep these independent shops in business.

  • I have a 3K Les Paul 60s standard electric guitar and a 100 dollar Kierh Urban acoustic guitar for acoustic learning. Lol

  • You are doing what I love to do. Visit the guitar stores in new towns. Always fun. I’m surprised you didn’t stop at Heartbreaker Guitars in Las Vegas. A big Furch & Lowden dealer as well as many other boutique brands. I watch their channel as well.

  • I saw you connect with the Santa Cruz … but that one needs deep pockets …
(was that the Tony Rice Orchestra Model?)

  • I gotta say , the Iris guitars sound fine. They don't to my ear sound better than a 0-18 Martin etc
As a poor , working musician that has had to sell and buy lots of guitars – I would say it is not worth the money

Boutique brands may be nice to play- but will be impossible to resell

I have never had trouble selling a Martin or Gibson

    Just my 2 cents

  • I always find it hard to evaluate acoustic guitars only by seeing and hearing them online.
To really hear and feel the 'soul' … the resonance … the vibration …
The connection I think you must have with your lady you only can have when she's sitting on your lap … that's when you know you will caress her strings with a loving heart ❤
