PLAY IT FORWARD – Someone gave me a guitar when I was 15, and it changed my life.
So I want to pay it forward. Support me on Patreon to help me on my mission to put free guitars in the hands of youngsters, new adult students, or just generally people I meet who could use a guitar. Every little bit helps! https://www.patreon.com/user?u=43523445&fan_landing=true
I used to mess with pedals for hours. Then I figured out with a good amp and a good guitar, I have way more tonal possibilities than I realized.

Not possible with a Strat
My GAS condition is telling me this is a terrible way of doing it
The thing with Les Paul is you can control each pickup individually this can also be done with HSS, SSS, or HSH guitars but a bit tricky though. String attack variation yields better results in my experience.
Yea sure this is easy to say when you’re playing a Gibson les Paul out of an orange amp. Not all of us have that luxury
