Personally, I wouldnt say the diamond eq is an always on pedal; it's situational. It really depends on where yout put it. I uses various boosts to push an amp into dostortion. So just my two cents that the diamond comp (what i uses) has to sit before the boost because you really dont want it to work with a very hot signal. I basically have it alwags on when clean, but definitely selective about it when the signal becomes hotter.

I see your using boss ir200 here. What are your favorite amps to use for a clean base tone, to then add pedals? I have a vox ac15 which doesn’t have the highest headroom but can do some.

I literally have that same exact guitar, color and everything and im about to change the pickups out of it. I just cant seem to get a tone i like out of it. Love the feel of the guitar just not the pickups. I use a mxr 10 band eq in the effects loop of an orange rockerverb. Anyways. Nice vid lol
