Best Solid Body Guitar For Jazz? ???? #guitar
What is the best solid body guitar for Jazz? ???? Sometimes people say that a real jazz guitar is an archtop guitar but that is not clearly not true!
Wes Montgomery might even have recorded on a solid body instrument, Joe Pass played a Fender Jazzmaster.

Some of it is how to play jazz guitar, but other videos are more on Music Theory like Jazz Chords or advice on how to practice and learn Jazz, on guitar or any other instrument.
The videos are mostly jazz guitar lessons, but also music theory, analysis of songs and videos on jazz guitars.

What is your favorite Jazz guitar tone with a solid body guitar? ????
I'm learning jazz on a tele. I love it.
Ed Bickert's Telecaster. And yes… the SG. BUT….I want to make a case for the Danelectro U3. Amazing sounds you can get with perfect clarity.
I used an ibanez artist model when I was playing as a kid, but we played loud so a hollow body would have exploded on stage.
Yea this guy speaking facts and doesn’t really matter what guitar you play on if you can make the guitar talk and have a good amp that’s all you need in my opinion
the one i'm playing
Telecaster
The one that sounds the best is the one being played by the best
Jazzmaster
Telecaster wins
YOU are the greatest jazz guitarists?
jazz police lol
for me its a telecaster, but IMO, semi-hollow has the best tone for jazz. just subjective, but thats my favorite.
Les Paul/Tele/Strat
Its in your fingers. The guitar is the "instrument" for conveying the music in your fingers.
I used my 335 cheap copy
Tele but an SG is also tasty, I prefer the sound of a solid body every time.
Yeah they tried it and went back to true jazz guitar.
B. C. Rich Warlock!!!
I love my Strat Ultra when I do not need an acoustic sound ( then I use my Collings City Limit Jazz ), but I think that any piece of wood with a decent neck pickup, flat wound strings and a decent amp can produce a good amplified Jazz sound. my 2 cents
The Jazzmaster lol
I don't know but I've a Yamaha SG like the one you're holding and its the best solid body for building shoulder strength.
I'll name a few jazz guys who played Strats, at least sometimes. Terje Rypdal, Gabor Szabo, Allan Holdsworth. Stratocaster are the most versatile guitars. Sure, use it for jazz.
Yamaha Revstar
definitely les paul
Hard one.
I personally love telly and sgs with p90s
The one that's the easiest for you to play so that you can play more. For example, I use a Fender Duosonic because of its 24" scale length that fits my hand better for chord melody.
I don't think it really matters because with the right pedal you can make any guitar sound like a jazz guitar nowadays
Telecaster and Stratocaster.
Haven't seen you in dog years❤
whatever guitar holdsworth used
Great players make great sounds regardless of the type of instrument
telecaster
THE ONE AND ONLY "Gibson Chet Atkins SST" & "Gibson chet atkins STUDIO CE" As well as the tennessean and country gentleman
Probably the telecaster, Julian Lage and Ed Bickert play it and get a realy good sound out of it
something attached to ideas
Heritage h525
You can use any Guitar but I use PM35 with gadgets 12
A " Höffner " with one element and a radio as amp !!! Anyway that was 60 years ago !!!????
Not the tool, it’s the artist
The Yamaha you are holding is definitely a jazz beast
Les Paul
It’s the player.
Strandberg
All of them. ????????✌️????
That looks like a Yamaha SG1000, I had one of those 35 or so years ago and still regret selling it!
I think Gibson Les Paul
Once I took entrance exams at the conservatory in Maastricht. The first thing they said, "there you have one with a board with strings." The 2nd thing they said to me was that I did have to buy an archtop. I asked why. In reply, I was told that they are a civilized jazz school and not a rock school. I had played great but still didn't get hired. So that was man those people who think Jazz can only be played on an archtop. Sad, my whole dream of life broken.
the best hard body is my mama
