  • I tried bass many many years ago , I bought the cheapest instrument which came with the highest action known to man . On top of that we didnt have the likes of youtube and great bassists like Scot finally explaining arpeggios to Thickos like me , I always thought you just picked how you like .
Tempted to buy another bass .

  • This is a great content. Its called "arpeggios" but can be easily be "no BS introduction to bass guitar". Very cool.

  • Really well explained as always and is really great for beginners as well as seasoned bassists wishing to catch up on basic music theory/chords/arpeggios.

  • I've always loved this lesson Scott. I come back to it from time to time. Sent the price of a couple of Cappaccino's to you and your missus at Starbucks. Enjoy!

  • Scott thank you so much m8….music theory has always been a black hole for so many of us out there who just played without knowing the how and why behind what we are doing….it does limit us to so many things with our playing and progress…….we all hit that point when we seem to be standing still and not getting any better…….things like this are pure gold m8……great lesson and easy to follow and put across so well…..stay safe m8….and keep up the great work…kind regards Darren.

  • You have taken out the chilly peppers music near the end for copyright reasons I take it? Good lesson tho, most make them so confusing.

  • Scott, I really appreciate your sense of practical theory. This lesson took me way back to my earliest days of lessons. What a great refresher!

  • The positioning and mobility of your left hand is impeccable. The ease of which your fingers move between notes, so dexterous. I've watched a ton of bass videos but that stood out to me from the intro
