5 Neural DSP Metal Tone in a Mix
I was thinking that i’m maybe too much used to Omega, so i wanted to test back some different DSP metal tone and just see where it goes.
Yeeees we all already seen this a lot, way too much people have already done that haha right? But here it’s just for fun, for me to check in my mixes situation where i try to improve myself. Fun test can always be cool 🙂
Obviously i go with a classic metal tone for riffin, you knoooow, and doing it with their build in IR’s. So many nasty choices you have, DSP! ????

Wow you got omega to download properly? The one time I tried doing the free trial I couldn’t even get it to download or run
Just spent the last 2 weeks trying out every plugin and have to say the Gojira one is just amazing. Bonus points you get a fairly unique clean amp.
I own the Gojira and It's awesome!! this is an example of the Gojira not dialed in. As it's based off of a tube amp it helps to drive the amp hard to get that tube warmth. Otherwise it can sound thin

I have the Gojira amp, I'm pretty happy with it. Hearing it compared to the others confirms I got the right one for what I want to do. Just nasty nasty ass sound.

This riff is very Wes Hauch – Alluvial esque!
If you don’t think the enormous, punchy, and impossibly clear Nolly tone was the best, you’re wrong and cannot be trusted to mix guitars

This makes me happy that I have purchased Nolly and Gojira so far…
Every example sounds amazing, but I can't hear the tone clearly enough because of the band. The drums, for instance, make it hard to parse the transients in the guitar attack.

I don't understand the Gojira one… They've been using EVH for years, but that amp looks nothing like it. Is it based on something else?

I actually liked the Gojira the least in this video. The fortins sound wicked. Omega is good and Nolly is good.
