I love both of these for different reasons including look, feel and tone. Which guitar do you guys prefer?
I am using position four on the pickup selector of both guitars. Both the @fender Stratocaster and @suhrcustom Standard are using stock pickups.

Suhrs sound more fundamental.
Fender sounds pure with pure single coils.
I bet the suhr plays better though.

People have to understand that when inviduals fly through the scale there's no melody or texture … The song sounds two-dimensional, it sounds like somebody flying through the scales.
If you were listening to a song would you want to hear somebody flying through the scales or would you want to hear music ?
The the act of doing this shredding or fast playing t is addictive to the player who's actually playing the guitar however it's not pleasing to the listeners.Why ? Because it sounds like somebody practicing the scales,it sounds like an exercise.The player on the other hand has forgotten shredding is not music it's am exercise.The player thinks it shows skill, however skill is writing music effectively..The guitar player is forgetting that when you solos it's an extension of a song, therefore music writers who have true musical talent can just write a few notes and it can be amazing!
Writing a solo is like telling a story.When someone is telling a story would you want them to talk really fast ? (ramble on and make nonsense and noise), or would you want them to skillfully tell the story with emotions)
People think playing fast means skill ? No it sounds like you have redundantly practiced your scales ( it lacks emotions) The guitar sounds like it's just flying through notes, however wares the melody?
You loose the melody of the song .A solo is an extension of a song .
Suhr on this one for me. Fender too muddy.

I thought the playing on both was pretty poor. I like aome of the jazz fusion trend guys like guthrie govan but it sounds really bad when most people try it.
The humbucker muddiness on the suhr covered the playing a little but i think any standard strat style guitars sounds much more balanced and rich than any superstrat. Body size, pickup position, picking position, pickup type, resonance from the strings between the nut and pegs, and the synchro trem all contribute. Maybe theres a potential better guitar waiting to be discovered, but its not a conventional superstrat.

superstrat i think looks way better and sounds better too the fender strats look so borring imo

Sounds note by note the same. I would never spend thousands more just to change the color of frequencies. Non sense

There is a Diff cos of the neck … Maple is bright …the rose wood is a bit dark ????
The strat has more variety in tone than whatever that other thing was

Whatever differences might exist they are not perceptible to the human ear. Pickups have a lot to do with the differences in this situation but when you do and a b comparison like this there's virtually no difference
