  • I like how you played the same thing for each one so we could really hear the differences and not have to try and assimilate!

  • Wow, great comparison and man, that Dove, simply incredible.
(the J45, J35 and J50 are not Advanced Jumbos though, just to set it straight). Great video, keep it up! ????

  • You're paying a fortune for the brand name on the head stock. The Asians i.e. the Japanese Indonesians, Chinese except for a few exceptions have finally got it together. For a fraction of the cost you're getting guitars that play and sound the same.

  • Im so confused. Why was he playing a lefty L-00 upside down with the low E on the wrong side? My brain just broke.

  • Bro casually played a lefty guitar upside down (but not strung upside down) without missing a beat. That was wildly impressive lol. Great video!

  • Great video man. I’ve got a number of Martins and Taylors. Have often tried the Gibsons and would have bought one as they look so nice from the side and straight on. But just can’t handle the necks. They’re like baseball bats and so unattractive. Finger board not attractive either. They look and sound good but just couldn’t play one. So sorry. ????‍♂️????????????

  • Kind of strange mic position. They all sound the same to me. Mostly hearing the strings.

  • I recently tried several different Gibson acoustics and found the action is too high compared to my Martin D18 and Taylor 614ce ,,this made it difficult to play further up the neck .

  • Hallo Kris, nur so als Vorschlag. Wäre es für die vielen deutschen Kunden die dem Englischen nicht ganz so mächtig sind, nicht möglich die Thomann Videos auch mal in Deutsch zu machen? Gruß Patrick

  • I love the way Kris effortlessly plays a lefty right-handed… what an amazing musician he is!

  • Greg Lake used a J 200 and it always sounded amazing. I was lucky enough to see ELP at Madison Square Garden in the 70's and it is still my favorite concert. I'll take a J200 over any acoustic guitar made they sound so huge

  • That particular SJ is rosewood, unlike the J45, 35, etc. And the J55 has a long scale.

Strangely, the Hummingbird sounded the best to me of this selection of guitars.

  • Gibson is terrible..The Eko Wow series are very better for all, also for the price, better of Taylor and Gibson.
