???????? ELECTRIC BLUES ESSENTIALS LEVEL 1 [Full 27 Lesson Course] Intermediate Level
Welcome to level one of our Electric Blues Essentials series! In this course we will be taking you through the beautiful world of electric blues guitar, covering lead, rhythm and the theory to ensure you come away with a total understanding of the genre and the skills you need to play like the top blues players in the world.
In this 27 lesson course, we take an incredibly detailed look into the world of blues guitar. We guide you through all the fundamentals that the great blues players use and lay some epic foundations to ensure you can take your blues playing to a pro-level. From a rhythm point of view, we tackle the 12 bar structure, every single dominant chord across the neck and, crucially, why this all works and is so unique to the blues.
From a lead point of view, we work with our blues scale, minor and minor pentatonic crossover, and talk in-depth about the techniques you need to make every single note you play sing! The course ensures that with each unit you level up, and we have professionally recorded tracks, solos, chord parts and more with every single unit. So, let’s break down each unit one by one.

Loving these lessons
the starting lick in this video is just awesome, cant stop playing it! TY, you made me pick up my guitar again, even buy me a new amp and restart practicing ????
thanks buddy for your work!
It seems like you really love blues, anway great tutorials really helpful
I started studying the blues and came across your lessons. Very correct and high-quality submission. I like it very much. Many thanks!
Kudos to the people trying this on acoustic ????
Can't agree more with Alex's comment!! Thank you… BTW – absolutely love that guitar, is that a 335 HB? Gotta have one! ????
ThankYou sir!! Ive been trying to take my playing to the next level and these videos are doing it, thankyou so much!
I have a question about how to apply this into12 bars.
So would it be right to call box 1 of pentatonic scale as E shape of caged ?
Why is this site not loaded with more comments and views? This is really quality instruction here. Spread the word! TY to YGA????
ONE LOVE
The best guitar chanel in youtube for shure. If finded my place… Thank you so much.
Like! Comment. Really good lesson as always. 🙂
Is that a 339
can u pls give the drum beat from the video?:( i don t find it on the site
REALLY -» G-R-E-A-T —-» one!! √√
Ty for this. It's great
Really awesome mate. Cheers for the lessons
Great course! I have the printout for this and was curious if in measure 17 you have a fingering for string 2 fret 6 – is this an error?
thanks for this. Really. I'm intermediate (I can do copy complex solos or play difficult songs but my improvisation skills are close to zero). I've seen paid content much worse than this. I will definitely try some of your artist courses after finishing this.
Great course by now, I think you should include the chord progression with the drum backing track to hear it in context. Thank you!
I really like to hit the notes with both thumb and pick at the same time, great lesson!
What I don't understand is the terminology flat 7 and flat third etc. do you have a video that explain this
Why does your score notate A# and not Bb. It confused me for a minute. Otherwise, great lessons.
I'm totally beginner guitar player. This course is amazing. thank you so much ????????????
Love this series as well as the ongoing Clapton series. One request – the videos are well made with lots of detail for beginners to follow. Please consider making a shorter summary in the first 2-3 mins of the video. That would be ideal for intermediate players. While I love the content, a 15 min video for 3 short licks seems too long.
Great lesson!
excellent, as always
I have being trying the fingers and find there is a better attack and sound, but cannot praise you guys enough for offering these courses, what I am doing is going through the lesson's as they go, then going back to them for review , then bang out the backing tracking, but I know I getting better when my girlfriend is not moaning about my playing she says your getting there, , all I can say is hard work determination , frustration but never give up, that's my advise, and when you do feel angry just put the guitar down grab a cup of tea, and just take a break, the journey is fun ,
Dan and team, what intervals are typically used for the call or question and which for the response or answer in phrases? I am guessing the the root or first interval is typically used for the answer? Thanks!
THANK U????????????????????
Really great course ????
Really digging this course along side course work from my YGA teacher.
Hiiii great course
